Is it just me or is this version of X-Men just a little darker than what I remember the series to be? The characters seem darker, the plotline seems....I don't know. Grimmer, if such a word exists. This is the beginning of one of the most popular series Marvel has ever put out as a graphic novel. It just seems, not more evil, but....well, grimmer is the only word that comes to mind, really.
