A River Runs Through 500 Days of Summer

This was basically our conversation of the day, and how usually our conversations can go on for hours and hours. All based on this one little video from 500 Days of Summer. Be forewarned: Jon has this weird obssession for Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Brad Pitt, Ed Norton, James Franco, Joaquin Phoenix and many other notable talented actors and yet some with questionable sanity. I mean, seriously, leaving Jennifer Aniston for Angelina, who's kind of a hott mess? And so how one of our many conversations usually begin...

Jon: Ok. Forget Brad Pitt. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is my new #1 just for being the cool person he is. Dude is talented in so many ways.

Elli: Aw.....I do like him. I actually liked him ever since Angels in the Outfield.....and 3rd Rock From the Sun!!!

Elli: Not to mention this is performed by Zooey Deschanel's band, She and Him. I have a girl crush on her, she's really pretty and a really talented actress. It took me 30 seconds to realize that she was Jovie in Elf.

Jon: I've liked him since A River Runs Through It.
Him and the other kid who plays his little brother, it was cute. And funny. =]

And yes, Zooey is pretty awesome. Her band is ok.. But she a fairly well rounded actress I think.

Elli: Aw, well, not to mention the fact that Brad's in that movie too, you know. :0).

Jon: Hahaha! Yes... Not to mention Brad. =P
I mean, that's the reason why I watched it in the first place. Haha
But I love the part where the younger brother asks Levitt what he'll do when he's grown up and He says something along the line of, "I'...m not sure. Probably gonna be a preacher like dad."
And in turn, Levitt asks his brother what he'll do and he responds, "A professional fly fisher."
And Levitt asks, "Not a preacher?"
"HA!"
And they both start laughing. Haha
It's so cute. =P

Elli: I LOVE this story....Craig Sheffer is such an underrated actor....and I love Tom Skerritt, since he'll always be VIPER to me!!!

Jon: Dude, that was a great film. I find Brad's 90's movies were some of his best.

Jon: A River Runs Through It, Legends of the Fall, Meet Joe Black.

Elli: Um, we won't even mention Legends of the Fall and Meet Joe Black.

Jon: He was creepy good in 12 Monkeys. The movie itself was.. meh. But Brad as a crazy person? Oh yes. You didn't like 'em? D=

Elli: I did!! That's why I won't even mention how good he was in those movies because you already know. What's the point of repeating myself? :DDD

And he does creepy well, apparently. He was a bit creepy in Meet Joe Black as death, but seriously, ...he couldn't have gotten any creepier than being a figment of Ed Norton's imagination in Fight Club.

Jon: FIGHT CLUB!!!!! =DDDDDDDDD
